Austin Thanksgiving Weekend Events

If your at home with friends & family and looking for something to do during your Thanksgiving Weekend, here is a list of events to pick from

  1. 26th Annual Thundercloud Subs Turkey Trot: Thursday, November 24, 2016 – Bring your friends and Family and start off your Thanksgiving Day by running or walking in the Turkey Trot.The Turkey Trot will start at the Long Center and it will benefit Caritas of Austin.
  2. Operation Turkey: Thursday, November 24, 2016  This is a opportunity where you, your family and friends can give back to the community we call home. Austin-based Operation Turkey is always looking for additional volunteers to help prepare & distribute Turkey meals on Thanksgiving Day. Please note: Children are welcome to help as well!
  3. Chuy’s Children Giving to Children Parade: Saturday, November 26, 2016 – This is a great opportunity to show your children the REAL meaning of Christmas by giving back at the “Chuy’s Children Giving to Children Parade”. Bring toys to donate during the parade and stay for the fun floats and balloons. This is such a fun way to start the Holiday season!
  4. Annie: November 25 – 26, 2016 – You can take the family to the Long Center to see the classic show, Annie – 2 days only!
  5. A Christmas Carol: November 23-December 31, 2016 – An Austin hit and a Must See! And it’s back at ZACH Theater – perfect for the whole family! It’s a favorite holiday show to see this season!
